Quality & Compliance

Compliance handled before your goods reach the port

Conformity approvals, HS classification, duty planning and category-specific certification, prepared as part of the order rather than chased after arrival.

Quality Assurance

Quality is decided at the supplier, not the warehouse

Inspecting goods on arrival only tells you how much money you have already lost. Our controls sit upstream: supplier assessment before we buy, and sample approval before any bulk commitment.

Spare parts and vehicle components are tested for performance, durability and compatibility. Raw materials are verified against agreed specifications, certificates of analysis and quality data sheets. Where agreed, we add pre-shipment inspection before the consignment leaves origin.

Standards & Approvals

The frameworks we work within

GCC vehicle standardisation
Motor vehicles must meet GCC specification and pass registration and homologation through the relevant UAE traffic authorities. Used vehicles are additionally subject to age-of-import restrictions.

ECAS / MoIAT registration
Applicable spare parts and machinery components are registered under the Emirates Conformity Assessment Scheme through the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology where required.

UAE.S / ESMA standards
Raw materials are supplied against applicable UAE national standards, with chemical and hazardous material handling approvals obtained where the category demands them.

Product conformity & labelling
General wholesale goods comply with UAE product conformity rules, including labelling and language requirements for retail-bound stock.

Export compliance at origin
We verify export eligibility, licensing and documentation in each source country, including EU export requirements where they apply to Austrian consignments.

Duties, VAT and landed cost

  • Import duty typically falls in the 0–5% range depending on category, with variations for vehicles and certain raw materials.
  • VAT at 5% applies to most goods supplied into the UAE market.
  • HS classification is set correctly per category so declarations are accurate and duty is predictable.
  • Cost structure is planned around these figures, so the landed cost we quote is the landed cost you pay.

Duty and tax treatment depends on the specific goods, their classification and prevailing UAE regulation at the time of import. We confirm the applicable position for your consignment as part of the quotation rather than relying on generic figures.
